I am so behind in blogging!! I hate it, but life has just been so crazy!! I hope to get better soon!!!

Woo-hoo for end of term!! Samuel and I both finished our classes strong!! YAY!!!

Hopefully, we can do a celebratory dinner here soon!! so proud of us and excited for our next batch of classes!!! yay!!

Done with sick kids!!!

Okay, well my girls just had/have a cold, so it could be worse!! But two sick girls make a mom's life really hard. They both cried the majority of Tuesday-Thursday....oh man, I thought I was going to lose it!!

I am happy that Amilee seems almost better and Maddyson is on her way too. It is sad seeing them sick too, especially knowing that I can't really do anything for them. Amilee had to miss nursery last Sunday and gymnastics this week and library time since she was sick. Her whole week was messed up. She asked me everyday when we were going to the library. Hopefully we can go Tuesday!!

Samuel and I

Well Samuel and I have been crazy busy!! Samuel is still working at Costa Vida as the assistant manager and it is going really well.  They are getting into a routine of things.  We are also in our own place and we love it.  We still see Jolene and Steve all the time, and that is nice, but we missed being on our own.  I also loving the girls having a sisters room.  It is so cute.  I just finished my school term, hence, why I haven't been blogging, and Samuel finishes his here at the end of May, so that has kept us very occupied.  I am happy to have a little bit of downtime.  It is really nice, but I am ready to get back into my classes here later on this week.
I stay busy everyday at home with the kids and running our home.  I take Amilee to a few different things during the week and we run errands and a million other things.  It is busy, but I am happy to be at home.  I am okay sacrificing a little income to be at home raising my girls.
My birthday is coming up on Saturday and I think Samuel and I are going to go see a movie and we haven't seen a movie since last summer, so it has been almost a movie! That is crazy!! I am also taking prom pictures for Katie and her friends on Saturday also.  That will be fun.  I am excited for that.
I am taking pictures for a friend's wedding here at the end of the month too.  I am excited to do the whole thing.  It will be awesome.
I am also excited about all of my upcoming sewing projects and endeavors.  I am finishing up a few things for my friends Scarlet and Stephanie, who are both due here in a couple of weeks.  I am almost done, so that is good!!
Samuel can't wait to go paint balling again, but I told him he has to finish up school first.  It is part of his reward for working so hard.

We miss seeing my family, but can't wait to head to Utah when Chris gets home from his mission and to see to see all of our family!! 3 months to go!! can't wait!!

We are so thankful for everything Jolene and Steve have done for us and continue to do for us.  They are such great inlaws and grandparents to our little girls.  Thank you!!

Amilee update!!!

I can't believe my Amilee is 2 1/2 years old!! She is such a big girl!! Amilee is definitely not a baby anymore...she has changed into a beautiful little lady right before my eyes!!
Amilee.....
-is super tall! She is taller than most kids that are a year older than her.
-dresses in dresses almost everyday
-is in gymnastics and doing great.  She loves it so much too and it is really fun!
-is a great big sister
-loves rice, chicken, mac and cheese and snacks
-talks all day everyday and is interested in everyone's conversations
-loves to help with everything
-mimics everyone and repeats what everyone says
-is a very busy girl!!



I love me some Amilee so much!! I can't believe the time has just flown by. She is such a great girl, and a girly girl at that. She loves lip gloss and chap stick and high heels and purses and make up and nail polish.  It is so cute!! I love it so much!! i love this little girl.  She is such a helpful big sister and she really does love Maddyson. It is sweet!!  Here are some pics!!

Maddyson update

Oh man, how time flies! Maddyson turned five months old on Sunday.  She is such a good baby.  We are very lucky.
Right now, she
-sleeps through the night
-eats rice cereal, bananas and carrots
-rolls from tummy to back and back to tummy...she is a rolling machine!!
-is trying to scoot
-loves to play with her big sister
-has the biggest smile
-is a total momma's girl
-has no hair...well she has a little fuzz, but the first stuff fell out way late!!
-is about to fit into 6 to 9 months clothes!!!

We love Miss Maddyson so much. She is a wonderful addition to our family and I love watching her grow everyday.  I love watching my girls interact.  It is so cute.  I love my sweet girl!! Here are some pics!!

almost back in action

I hate that I have been a terrible blogger, but I have been SUPER BUSY with school!! But I am back in action and can't wait to put tons of updates on my blog!! I have been missing it!! and reading all of your blogs as well!! so excited.

Worst blogger

I am the worst blogger ever, and I hate it. But this month has been crazy busy!! but I will get better!!

Samuel was promoted to assistant manager at Costa Vida, which is awesome, but that means he is working way more, which is hard on me, because then I have little time to do anything other than watch the kids. I have also been busy with school and will only get busier as I have two more classes to finish by April 25!! and to top things off, Samuel has to work on school too and we are moving over the next couple of weeks. I am excited to move, but I didn't think it would be so soon. We just started looking last week, or the week before, but we felt right about this place, and I am excited to go. We get the keys Monday.More to come!! lots of love!

February already???

Wow!! This past month flew by!! I feel like a horrible mom; I haven't been taking enough pictures of Maddyson.  I need to work on that.  I have also been a horrible blogger, but I feel like I am just so busy with the two girls and then trying to school on top of that.  Life is busy, but great.  Here is a little update with pictures to come tomorrow or the next day.
Samuel starts his new position as Assistant Manager tomorrow at Costa Vida.   He is a little nervous, but I think everything will work out for the best.  Hopefully we will be able to move out in a few months too with the extra income. Samuel is also working on school and being a dad.  He is busy with his crazy work schedule and it is only going to get worse.  He is so cute with the girls; I love it.
Amilee is busier than ever.  She is talking more and more everyday and learns new words all the time.  She is a great big sister too.  She is so fun also.  i love my little Amilee.  but oh my, is she two!!! It could be worse, but we definitely have a few rough days every now and again.  right now she is getting her molars, so that is no fun!!
Maddyson weighs 11 and a half pounds and she is such a happy, smiley baby. She is a great sleeper!! I love it.  She got shots today, and that was so sad, but she has done really well today.  Her blessing was a couple of weeks ago, and that was such a special day.  It was great. Maddy loves to smile, and she is liking a few toys.  I love her so much!!!
And me, well I am a busy mom.  I am working on school and many sewing projects and serving my friends and family.  I keep very busy, and might just need a pedicure or something coming up soon.  haha I am wanting to make a cheesecake or something soon; I am getting the urge.  haha.  I am truly falling in love with sewing.  It is so fun, and a great outlet for me.  I wish I had more time to sew, but I know that will come with time.
 We saw Gladys Knight and her choir on Sunday night, and it was amazing.  I know there were so many people touched by her testimony and by the spirit that was communicated and felt through the beautiful words and music.  I was also inspired too, and I can't help but think about what else I can do for the cause.  This work is bigger than my family.  i have more to do.  And I can't help but be so proud of Chris for serving his mission and following the Lord.  He has six more months and I know he will keep bringing more souls unto the Lord.  It is awesome!!

Maddyson update!!

Maddyson is 6 weeks old now!! man, the time has gone by really fast. She is a great baby. She is a good eater and a good sleeper.  She holds her head up really good, and she is more awake during the day and its fun!! Amilee loves her so much too!! It is so fun!! Here are some pics!!

Christmas festivities!!!

This year we were able to decorate a gingerbread house with Amilee.  A few days before decorating, Amilee kept asking to make the house. She was very excited.  And then when it actually came time to do it, she only wanted to help a little bit.  Kind of funny!! Here are some pics

On Christmas Eve, Amilee put out cookies for Santa and some celery for the reindeer and we snapped her picture in front of the fireplace with all of the stockings.  Sorry the pics are in the wrong order.  We took the video of her Christmas morning right after she woke up to see what Santa brought her in her stocking.  She loved her Elmo objects.  We had a great Christmas with her.

On Christmas morning, Amilee opened her stocking and then we went to church.  I sang in sacrament meeting with two other sisters, and it turned out really good. We went home and had breakfast and then we opened presents with everyone.  Amilee loved it, but she was overwhelmed with all the presents.  Poor thing was also sick, so that kind of made for a hard day.  We put Amilee down for a nap and then she opened some more presents.  We had a nice dinner and then went to Christmas tree lane again, and Amilee loves looking at all the lights.  It was a great Christmas!!!

Amilee's 2nd birthday!!

This year we had an Elmo themed party for Amilee.  We had family and some of Amilee's friends from nursery over.  It really was a great party, and for a 2 year old, Amilee did pretty good.  We are so thankful for the friends and family that were able to come.  We are also so thankful for Amilee. We really do love her so much and she brings so much joy and happiness to our lives.
